Spring 'Wish' List

I'm 100% one of those people who will always have a dozen tabs open on my laptop, phone and iPad - actually as I type this I can confirm that I do in fact have way too many tabs open all that are clothing stores let me just say (I've actually got three zara tabs open, don't ask why). But my point is that I'm always looking at new trends as they arrive, new season clothing and I'm always creating wish lists; metaphorical wish lists as well as actual ones on websites like nasty gal, asos and net-a-porter because god bless them they actually let you save pieces you like in the form of an online 'wishlist' - I think we need to start a petition for Zara to do this as well so all my pieces don't leave my basket as soon as I go onto another page... how annoying!!

As you will see from my 'mood board' I'm loving the very fun all american denim trend that is gracing every store - especially zara. I'm also currently feeling the gorgeous blush tones that honestly are able to be mixed into every season but look oh so gorgeous in the spring in particular against the pretty blossom trees.

Bombers are also currently threatening to take over my wardrobe. However I'm not really talking about the bog standard khaki and navy bombers that I think are a tad overdone now - I mean the gorgeous spring appropriate bombers that are in pastel colours or have intricate floral detailing in light satin fabrics, I love love love these ones and Zara has a perfect selection! Every style icon has recently been seen sporting a bomber jacket including; Olivia Palermo, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and so on - so if that doesn't convince you that you need one in your wardrobe I don't know what will, haha.

I've shown a mix of high street and luxury items that are currently on my 'wishlist', just because. In particular the Gucci Dionysus bag that every fashionista seems to own at the moment. I've never really been a massive fan of gucci bags, however this bag has caught my attention - and its caught it well as I cannot seem to stop thinking about it for the life of me, I love how different it is compared to all the other gucci bags that can come across as a little mundane. The bag also fits in with the very 'fun' patched trend that I've been embracing at the moment like the zara jeans and skirt on my 'mood board'.

Off the shoulder tops have also stolen my heart - and again zara seems to have the perfect selection this spring season. The denim blue one on the mood board also comes in white which I equally love. Zara also has some longer more 'shirt' like ones that I again equally love. Off the shoulder "bardot style' shirts are the perfect transition piece into the spring/summer weather as they can be paired with jeans whilst we're still in the colder months, yet as the sun returns they can be worn with shorts and skirts!

I won't be saying goodbye to my knee boots quite yet, however as the spring is now officially here I'm slowly starting to get into the groove of wearing slip ons and espadrilles; the gorgeous pink ones are Chanel however there are many more affordable (yet still so gorgeous) options on the zara and asos website! I'm still not over the adidas Stan Smiths - I think they are honestly the perfect trainers that can be paired with multiple outfits; dresses, jeans, skirts, shorts...

And of course it would not be a 'Maija Wishlist' if I didn't include the absolutely swoon worthy Valentino rock studs that are perfect for every season (not just spring)...

Accessories shouldn't be forgotten and on my 'mood board' you will see the Dior so real sunglasses that have a permanent tab open on my laptop, after they came out last year I haven't been able to find a pair of sunglasses that I like more! Let's take a moment for the earrings... they are by one of my mum and I's favourite jewellery brands - Monica Vinader. If you haven't been on the website yet I recommend you do so immediately (well after you've finished reading this) because everything by the brand is so so dainty and lovely. If you didn't know, emeralds are my favourite stone (after diamonds) as they are such a elegant colour which is why I fell so deeply in love with these stunning emerald Monica Vinader 'Siren cocktail earrings'.

I hope you've enjoyed reading about what I'm currently wishing for this spring... I'd love to know what you're currently loving for this season? Comment below anything that you've got on your wishlist!
