OOTD, and a Summer BBQ

hey guys, as I said in my last post I have had a super busy weekend, awesome nevertheless haha. As well as my weekend being pretty fun the english weather (which has a tendency to have sudden showers of rain) managed to stay hot the entire weekend.

On friday night my friend and I went to see 'The fault in our stars' in the cinema which we had both been counting down the days to see. There is actually an original book written by John Green, which I can honestly say I read in about two hours, which was absolutely amazing so when we found out there was a film version of it we knew we just had to see it. It was quite funny because in the cinema theatre there was literally a choir of people's sniffles. I'm most likely going to be reading the book again soon and if I cant last until the dvd comes out then I'm probably going to be going back to the cinema to see the film again. SO as you can guess I recommend the book 100000%.

On saturday my friend and I went with her mum and little sister to 'summertime ball' which is a concert here in the UK hosted by capital (a radio station), every summer. This year there was around 21 acts, I was super sad because Sam Smith didnt manage to make it due to him being ill. But there was still amazing acts such as Miley Cyrus (who I had already seen previously at the O2, so that was super lucky), Iggy Azalea, Pharrell Williams, Rita Ora, Jessie J, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Cheryl Cole, Ed Sheeran, The vamps, 5 seconds of summer, Clean Bandit and so many more. I think possibly my favourite of the night was David Guetta as he just made everyone get out of their seats it was super cool.

And today, Sunday, My uncle and Aunty hosted a BBQ for all the family, even the family who we don't see so often so that was nice. As I said earlier the weather managed to stay hot so that worked well.

Today I wore;

top: miss selfridge
trousers: Topshop
shoes: River island
bracelet: Michael Kors

Right now I'm currently drinking my (surprise, surprise) green tea and getting ready to pack for a three day school trip I am going on this Monday. I'm not quite 100% excited for it but hopefully it will give me some good memories with my friends.

Only a couple of weeks till summer... nearly there.

P.S thanks to my best cousin for helping me take these photos, hehe.

London & Milan Fashion Weeks

hey guys, its saturday and I'm having a lazy day, well so far I've had a lazy day listening to music and lounging around then later my family and I are going out to dinner (I still need to figure out what to wear, oops).

Im not as lucky as some well known bloggers who have been front row at the recent fashion shows in London and Milan but that doesn't mean I haven't been watching them through videos, photos and of course other peoples blog posts. Let me just say Im honestly in love with some of the runway shows, is it possible to be in love with clothes?

London fashion week SS14

I think I would have to say one of my favourites from the London fashion week would have had to have be the Sophia Webster SS14 collection. It was like a fantasy land, it looked magical from the photos and videos which only makes me wonder how amazing it must have been in real life. The set was beautiful it was like a scene out of a children's fairy movie.

The clothing is almost like bumble bees and lady bugs, the those cute little bags are too die for.

Can we take a moment for these shoes because honestly I cannot get over how adorably cute they are. It looks like cute little frilly socks when actually it is part of the shoe and leather, I just find them so adorable.

This Picture really shows you just how magical the setting was.

Milan Fashion Week SS14

Its safe to say the pictures from Milan's fashion week absolutely blew me away and left me speechless. My favourite shows would have to be Moschino's, Blumarine, Versace and Dolce and Gabbana.

Moshcino:

It reminded me as kind of a macdonalds theme and I really loved it haha.

Moshino also did a theme wear the clothes were food wrappers, mostly american candy which I also loved!

Versace:

I love Versace's line the looks were all so defined and unique form the band t-shirts to the raffia skirts.

Blumarine:

The line is breathtakingly gorgeous, the pieces all just look so delicate and innocent.

Dolce and Gabbana:

The theme reminded me of sort of the Cherry blossom, japanese print. i's stunning.

Its crazy what I would have done to be there at the shows, but I guess you never know, maybe one day I will be lucky enough to witness the runways shows of these amazing designers.
