It is officially spring, and the photos of blossom filling my instagram and every other blogger's is evidence of this. I'm starting to realise I say this every season; but spring really is one of my favourites - the sunny weather with a fresh breeze and the longer days that I miss every winter.
There really is nothing better than getting out all your pastel and blush coloured clothing when the spring returns, its like a sudden breath of fresh air from the 'gloomyness'.
I have to admit I'm in dire need of a wardrobe update, so when getting ready this morning I kind of just threw a few clothing items together (played it quite safe) and just hoped for the best.
I wore a pair of denim jeans, my black knit that should really be replaced my some lighter colours and my knee boots as well as my lovely 'blush pink' coloured coat that really should take all the credit for brightening up my outfit and making it that little more spring appropriate.
Today my cousin, Zoe and I had a lovely day out in one of my favourite areas, Notting hill. The one place that guarantees two things; nice pictures and even better brunch, which is all anyone could really ask for, right!?
We went to my favourite brunch spot in London; Granger & Co that is worth all the hype it gets because yes, the scrambled eggs really are that good and yes, the ricotta hotcakes are like biting into clouds. Despite the long queue that never seems to part from the cafe, it really is such a lovely spot to go a have a gossip at, whilst enjoying (the best) food. As usual, my cousin and I opted the ricotta hotcakes; both eating as much as we possibly could before admitting defeat. Luckily this time we weren't waiting in a massive queue at all but I'm guessing thats because today is a Wednesday rather than a Sunday like last time so it was a lot quieter.
We then took a walk around the gorgeous streets stopping to take some outfit pictures and to admire the picturesque white houses that never fail to leave me having major house envy. One day...
